Elvia Rodriguez (she/her/hers) is a Management and Program Analyst at a Federal Regulatory Agency with over 19 years of diverse experience. Her professional journey has spanned across non-profit, private, and federal government organizations, equipping her with a unique perspective and a comprehensive skill set. Elvia’s academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Texas and a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University, as well as various professional certifications.

At her current agency, Elvia assists with case management for administrative proceedings, supports agency leadership meetings, works on IT systems initiatives, and recommends business process improvements to her office’s leadership. In addition to her work, Elvia volunteers as a Co-Chair for the Hispanic Affinity Employee Resources group within her agency and volunteers with local nonprofits. She is also a qualified yoga instructor, which helps her be a more effective worker for the organization by giving her increased physical and mental energy through mindfulness activities.

As a 200-hour and 300-hour certified registered yoga instructor, she strives to incorporate mindfulness-based solutions into her personal and professional life. She is also committed to expanding diversity initiatives to better serve Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, yoga students, and instructors in the yoga industry.
