Kate Vendemio is a workplace learning consultant, small business owner, speaker, and trainer. She has designed and delivered training programs for federal government clients including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI), National Science Foundation (NSF), National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). 

Kate is Founder and CEO of Mt. Vernon Consulting, a woman-owned consulting firm that provides customized training and consulting services to small to mid-size organizations and associations that want to invest in, engage, and retain their employees. Prior to founding her consulting firm, Kate spent over 15 years working with and for the federal government with organizations such as the Partnership for Public Service, FMP Consulting and GSA. 

Kate is Kirkpatrick Four Levels Evaluation Bronze Certified and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She has a master’s certificate in Project Management from George Washington University School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University. When she’s not behind her standing desk, Kate can be found camping in the mountains, enjoying the beach, or road-tripping around the country in a quest to visit all 50 states.
