Brian Whittaker, Founder, Humans of Public Service, is a federal executive with over 10 years of experience leading IT transformation projects across the government. Currently the Chief Innovation Officer at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation(FDIC). I am the founder of Humans of Public Service, a nonpartisan 501c3 that celebrates the spirit of people who work in public service.

Prior to FDIC, I led the Design and Development team at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Our work focused on developing and maintaining the CFPB website, HMDA platform and other software applications. Prior to CFPB, I held many roles at the General Services Administration including leading a digital consultancy with 100 federal employees and projects spanning 22 partner agencies. Managed portfolios of $50 million in IT Modernization projects across six customer agencies in the areas of cloud adoption, contact centers, customer experience, data analytics, and IT infrastructure optimization.
