Relevant Competencies: Building Coalitions

Speaker:

A TV Newscaster turned award-winning Storyteller with over 25 years of both in-front-of and behind-the-camera experience, I work with SMBs and Fortune 500 companies to build their brand, drive sales, and win more customers in three different ways.

  1. Directing and producing TV commercials and branded content
  2. Re-branding and marketing campaigns
  3. Sales and storytelling training

Some of my clients are McDonald’s, Old Navy, Westin, Nissan, Verizon, Wells Fargo, to name a few, and they have enjoyed sales increase and engagements up to 110%. Awards I won include Clio, Addy, Telly, “Best of Business” in Video Production in 9 consecutive years starting in 2012, and many more from film festivals across the country.

The four years in the newsroom really helped me laid a solid foundation as a storyteller. Besides anchoring the news, I was also responsible for a daily 5-min human interest segment everyday where I could cover anything but hard news. I interviewed thousands of people from all walks of life and crafted over 1,200 on-air stories covering topics ranging from health, beauty, technology, science, red carpet events, movie premieres, and community news.

As a speaker/trainer, I was invited to speak at Los Angeles Mayor’s Office in 2019 and held training sessions for Westin, USC, SoCalGas, San Diego Gas & Electric, S. California Minority Business Development Council, NAWBO, e-Women Network, City Club LA, various chambers of commerce, and other professional organizations across the country.
