Rich is the Associate Chief Information Officer for Stakeholder Relations at the Federal Communications Commission. Rich leads a highly motivated team of ‘Intrapreneurs’ who serve as the Face of IT to stakeholders throughout the Commission. Rich promotes communications, builds partnerships, and leverages technology to turn ideas into finished products. Rich uses a deliberate and calm style combined with creative problem solving skills to achieve outstanding results.
In addition, he volunteered to leverage his experience and serve as the IT lead for modernizing the FCC’s Geospatial Information System capabilities. The Intrapreneur concept was developed before Rich joined the FCC, but was not fully implemented. Rich jumped in and mapped out necessary concepts and concrete actions and worked with his team to turn the idea into a reality. The FCC has Intrapreneurs assigned to all 19 Bureaus and Offices.
