Dr. Bill Brantley has been a project management practitioner and scholar for twenty years. Bill teaches a graduate class in project management leadership at the University of Maryland where he previously taught project management communication. Bill has taught in the Communication Department of the University of Louisville for the last twenty years. He wrote the Persuasive Project Manager: Communicating for Understanding (2019) and Four Scenarios for the Future of the Federal Government: Collected Essays on Transforming Government (2019).
Bill has presented on project management at project management conferences, professional groups, and, recently, the White House Fellows Program. Bill works at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a program manager for leadership development, career coaching, and executive coaching in the Enterprise Training Division. Along with his three project management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, and CDAP), Bill is also a certified professional in training management, a certified professional in learning and performance, certified agile coach, and a certified data scientist.
