Misti Burmeister speaks from real world experience, having started her business as a result of a lack of influential communication.

Misti speaks, coaches and facilitates for some of the world’s most prestigious universities and corporations – including Johnson & Johnson, George Washington University, AT&T, NASA and Marriott, to name a few; as well as thousands of direct leaders/managers in countries worldwide.

Misti have been featured in the Washington Post, Channel 8 News, Pink Magazine and dozens of other newspapers, ezines and magazines around the globe. Her first book, From Boomers To Bloggers, was listed on Washington Post’s top 10 best-seller list, listed at number 2. From Boomers To Bloggers book and workbook are considered by many experts and industry leaders to be the gold standard in the field of communication training for leaders, managers and anyone who wants to expand their influence across generations.

As a professional speaker and author, Misti is the first American to be selected as one of the top 10 awardees for the Global Peter Drucker Challenge for entrepreneurs and leaders. She was selected as a Woman Who Means Business by the Washington Business Journal and was among the first to receive the International Femtor award given by the eWomen Network.

In May 2011, Misti released her second book, Hidden Heroes, at the National Press Club. Bringing together thousands of people from around the world, Misti helps people see that influencing others begins with knowing and trusting ourselves.

Misti lives with her partner in Towson Maryland and spends weeks each year traveling the world, hiking and learning about other cultures.
